Job Description

The position holder is responsible for acting as the point of contact for our customers, initially greeting them, explaining, explaining our services, providing quotes based on their request, and following up on requests to quote after attendance of service by the Service Team. He/She needs to work closely with Assistant Manager and S/S Engineers on request and follow-up. He/She will be reporting directly to the Assistant Manager of Service Operations/Senior Manager of Service Department.

Key Tasks: 

  • Work closely with Service Engineers of the service operation team supporting follow-up quotes to affected customers
  • Assist the Sales and Project team with the quote for the contract renewals
  • Follow up on ITQ and RFQ through online portals and quote accordingly
  • Strong understanding of the RA and MOS procedure, safety, and all government-related safe work procedures with regard to maintenance and repair.
  • Develop as many solution methods as possible, attempting to keep costs low
  • Explain all service options to customers including time and cost estimates
  • Provide in-depth information on original equipment manufacture (OEM) part options, and the ability to access the portal
  • Advise customers on warranty and other potential cost-saving service options
  • Track maintenance or repair status, fill out reports on labor and cost of all services
  • Perform post-service inspection with customers and answer any questions they may have
  • Update the database for the generators under contract
  • Perform customer service duties, i.e. answering the phone, scheduling service appointments, and calling customers for follow-up


  • Candidate must possess at least NTC / Diploma or equivalent required
  • Have basic experience related to maintenance and repair works
  • 2+ years in the engineering industry preferred
  • Ability to explain complicated engineering concepts to visitors who may not be familiar with industry terminology
