WSH COORDINATOR

Job Description

The position holder  responsible to oversee WSH system at project site; including preparation and maintenance of relevant supporting documents and training as required

Key Tasks:

  • Assist Project Manager & Project Engineer with clients’ HSE requirements and assist in compliance
  • Assist of implement, maintenance, reviewing of company’s integrated management system and procedures
  • Plan, organize and take lead to drive safety initiatives and promote safety culture within the company and sub-contractors
  • Take lead to conduct safety site inspections to ensure compliance to legal legislations and organizational requirements
  • Liaise closely with supervisors and workers to ensure all site works adhere to safety rules and safe work practices as well as safety legislation.
  • Any ad-hoc duties or project as assigned

Requirements:

  • 6-Month Contract with the Possibility of Conversion to Permanent Staff.
  • Possess Advance Certificate in WSH (Level B) With WAH Assessor
  • Preferred Confined Space Assessor
  • Minimum 2 years HSE experience in the Construction industry.
  • Familiar with Lifting Operation
  • Proficient with MS Office Applications (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Words and PowerPoint)
  • Proficient in Risk Management procedures
